ELK Connect is ELK Consulting's telecom platform: a virtual number abroad, international calls, eSIM data while travelling and mobile top-ups, all paid from a single balance. It ships as a web app and a mobile app, sharing the same account and the same balance.
The problem
Staying reachable across borders means juggling subscriptions you cannot cancel, roaming bills you discover on return, and verification codes sent to a number you left behind.
Objectives
Replace subscriptions with a balance: pay for what is used, at a rate shown before the call connects, with no commitment.
The solution
A web app and a mobile app built on one Next.js and React codebase. Users rent a virtual number in the country of their choice, call abroad with the per-minute price shown before it rings, send SMS, buy eSIM data and top up a mobile — all charged to a single balance funded by Mobile Money, card or crypto. Long-term packs replace subscriptions with a one-off payment over 3, 6 or 12 months. A reseller area lets partners sell the services under their own brand, and the interface ships in several languages with light, dark or automatic appearance.
Results
The country list on the site is generated from the systems themselves rather than from a brochure: it shows where a number can actually be obtained at that moment, and grows as markets open.
Conclusion
ELK Connect also feeds MoKabb: every ride taken earns international call credits, tying the two products together.
